Chris London
Chris London is a highly experienced multi-instrumentalist who has been entertaining audiences for more than 20 years. Best known for his live solo performances, he combines acoustic guitar, stomp box and vocals to create a rich, energetic sound that far exceeds a typical solo act.
In addition to his solo work, Chris has performed on keyboard and bass guitar in a number of well-known Newcastle bands, including Uptown, Boombox, RPM, Made Radio, Sunday’s Record and The Crowdies tribute show. More recently, he has expanded into piano bar-style performances and featured as a vocalist with a full orchestra at the University of Newcastle’s 60th anniversary concert in the Great Hall.
Classically trained on piano in Newcastle, Chris works as a music educator by day and brings a deep musicality and professionalism to every performance. His experience has taken him to a wide range of locations, from Norfolk Island and Magnetic Island to regional communities including Bourke, Brewarrina, Coonamble, Tamworth and Muswellbrook.
Chris’s repertoire spans decades, from 50s and 60s classics through to contemporary pop, with a touch of country influence inspired by his time performing in regional NSW. The result is a versatile, audience-focused set that connects with crowds of all ages.
As a classically trained pianist, let Chris cater for your ceremony music needs with style and sophistication, before unleashing set after set of pop and rock classics as your guests loosen up at the reception when it’s time to party!
